On our second and sadly, our last day in Rio, we wanted to check out Sugarloaf Mountain. From this vantage point reached by gondola, you normally can see the entire city and miles of beaches. For our visit it was a different story. It was a dreary, misty and foggy day. With optimism that it would clear up we went up there anyway. The fog never cleared, but it was somewhat peaceful up in the clouds. We made the best of it. Below are some black and white photos of our day… probably not the typical photos you would see from Sugarloaf.
